US Thanksgiving in Hillsdale and Hudson NY

 

Summer meeting in Wakefield, Québec

 

Wakefield, 35 kilometres from Ottawa in Québec's Gatineau region, was an excellent meeting spot. Our staff gathered at the Wakefield Inn this June on a sunny day. After morning meetings, we spent the afternoon walking and hiking locally. I brought my Hasselblad 500 C/M with a Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm 2.8 lens and shot a roll of CineStill BwXX 120.  This is THE classic motion picture film.  The CineStill website lists some of the motion pictures filmed on it, including:

More than three decades ago, as a family, we rode the old steam train that was a tourist attraction in the region, running from Hull to Wakefield and back.  The old tracks are still there, as is the old water tower.
