Large Format at the lavender fields
The lavender fields, north of Montréal, down a country road, between St-Eustache and St-Benoît, are a happening place on Thursday and Friday evenings during the month of July. In addition to yoga classes held in the fields, it's also a popular spot for picnics and watching the sun go down.
The local photography club, L’oeuil du Photographe, had arranged for an evening outing in mid-July, and I tagged along with my Tachihara 4X5 camera.
These were shot on Catlabs X-Film 80 Mk II (at box speed), which is my film for our August trip to Gaspésie, so this was a chance to continue to get familiar with it before I loaded 10 film holders for the trip east.
Developed at home with Rodinal developer, and scanned on an Epson V850 using Silverfast software.

An overview of the entrance to the site:
Would it be a rural tourist attraction without an old pick-up, tractor or truck? I had to wait for a minute to take this shot, as this is a popular with the little kids:
A total of four sheets, to simplify my life: that is how many my Stearman developing tank can hold at once, so four sheets of film per batch.
I have already developed the first few sheets from Gaspésie, though will post those together with the other shots still to be taken over the next two weeks. Likely will have photos on the digital blog from the trip up before I have a chance to develop and scan the negatives from the Tachihara.
